Planned Interruption of Water Service West of Bowman and North and South Rhame

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Dickinson, ND – Monday, July 28, 2014 – Please be advised contractors will be working on a Southwest Pipeline Project main transmission line on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Water users west of Bowman and north and south of Rhame will be without service from approximately 9:00 a.m. until mid-afternoon. This connection will ultimately be used to connect the City of Rhame to the Project.

The map below outlines, in yellow, the areas which will be without water.

Heitkamp decries Army Corps for water charges: Senator: ‘We have to bring the promise of water to those who wait’

Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., decried U.S. Army Corps of Engineers attempts to charge for Lake Sakakawea water during a visit to Dickinson on Friday afternoon.
