Dickinson, ND — February 26, 2014 – Southwest Water Authority continues to ask all landowners for easements in Oliver, southern Mercer and northern Morton Counties. Vital to the Project, 55% of the easements for this Service area have been signed, notarized and returned. More easements are needed, however, before the Project can be bid and the water pipeline can be installed.
Mary Massad, CEO/Manager of Southwest Water Authority stated, “We are very pleased to be able to offer the residents of these counties the ability to sign up for quality water, but there are still many easements which must be returned. She added, “Easement acquisition is an essential step to being able to provide quality water to the residents in these rural areas. That is why we urge those that have already submitted their easements to talk with their family, friends, and neighbors about the importance of quality water. And for those that still need to submit an easement to send it in by the beginning of March.”
The gratis easements are to be returned to Southwest Water Authority (4665 Second Street SW, Dickinson, ND 58601-7231). Easements should be signed in front of a notary and returned as soon as possible. If you have not received an easement or have any questions, contact Bruce Koppinger or Misti Conzemius at 701-225-0241 or toll free at 888-425-0241.
If you are interested in receiving quality water or need additional sign-ups (hookups) call Southwest Water Authority’s office at 701-225-0241 or toll free at 888-425-0241 and ask to sign-up for quality water today.
